Texte du résuméConnu depuis l’antiquité punique et romaine, sous le nom de Naro, le site d’Hammam Lif et ses sources sulfureuses et chloruro-sodiques, Ain el Bey et Ain el Ariane, ont attiré d’abord la résidence hivernale beylicale dès le XVIIIème siècle et donné lieu à un groupement de palais, de dépendances et de grandes demeures autour du Dar El Bey au sein d’une grande propriété le Henchir Hammam Lif de plus de 100 hectares. L’arrivée du chemin de fer en 1882 reliant Tunis à Hammam Lif signe la naissance d’une transformation décisive du site et des lieux qui adviendra en une décennie de 1885 à 1895. Le démembrement du Henchir Hammam Lif, la réduction de la propriété beylicale à un hectare et la préemption des grandes terres voisines cultivées ou marécageuses par la Direction de l’Agriculture du Commerce et de la Colonisation avec leur incorporation au Domaine de l’Etat achève le processus foncier. Les terres « Melk » sont immatriculées et mises en vente par la Direction des Domaines et la Direction des Finances tandis qu’une société privée issue de la Banque de Tunisie, la Société d’Hammam Lif-Tunis se voit accorder la concession d’ une partie des terrains en vue de leur transformation en un centre thermal et balnéaire d’envergure. Cet article explore l’histoire de la localité d’Hammam Lif et sa transformation en une « « station » thermale et balnéaire à la mode au début du XXème siècle. Il examine la structure urbaine, les procédures de lotissement et la morphologie du tissu réalisé par la Direction des travaux Publics et la Société d’Hammam Lif –Tunis et celle de son évolution urbaine. Il inscrit le développement de la station thermale et balnéaire dans les temporalités de l’entre deux guerres et des dernières années du protectorat. Il amorce enfin l’interrogation sur les transformations sociales et mutations contemporaines de la banlieue d’Hammam Lif.

Abstract
Known since the punical and roman antiquity as the name of Naro , the place of HammamLif and its sulphurous and chlorurous springs , Ain El Bey and Ain El Ariane , have attracted in the beginning, the winter beylical residence since the XVIII° th century , and realized a group of palaces , out-buildings and big places of residence around the Dar el Bey inside of a big property the Henchir of Hammam-Lif . Henchir of more than 100 hectares. The arrival of the railway in 1882 joining Tunis to Hammam-Lif signs the birth of a conclusive transformation of the site and of the plots that happened in ten years from 1885 to 1895. This paper explores the history of the place of Hammam-Lif and its transformation in a thermal and seaside resort up to date in the beginning of the XX° th century . It examines the urban structure, the housing estates proceedings and the urban fabric morphology realized by the Public Works Direction and the Society Hammam-Lif-Tunis, and its urban evolution. It inscribes the development of the thermal and seaside resort into the period of the two wars and the last years of French protectorate. It primes finally the question of social transformations and contemporary changes of Hammam-Lif suburbs.

الملخص
عرف موقع حمام الأنف منذ العصور القديمة البونية والرومانية، تحت اسم نارو، في إشارة الى منابع مياهه المعدنية ذات الخصائص الكبريتية العالية. ويتخذ الموقع شكل هنشير شاسع تنيف مساحته عن 100 هكتار. وقد جذبت عيونه، عين الباي وعين العريان، اهتمام البايات الحسنيين منذ منتصف القرن الثامن عشر ليتحول بذلك المكان تدريجيا إلى إقامة شتوية تشتمل على مجموعة من القصور والمباني الملحقة بها تنتظم كلها حول دار الباي. ويمثل وصول خط السكة الحديدية عام 1882، الذي يربط تونس بحمام الأنف، بداية تحول حاسم للموقع الذي سيعرف حركة عمرانية مطردة بين سنتي 1885 و1895. أدت هذه التحولات العمرانية الى تحديد حرم دار الباي والحمامات المعدنية التابعة لها ومختلف ملاحقها بهكتار واحد، وتقسيم باقي أراضي هنشير حمام الأنف وعرضها للبيع تحت اشراف الإدارة العامة للفلاحة والتجارة والاستعمار. وتمّ في هذا الصدد منح شركة حمام الانف امتياز استغلال جزء كبير من هذه التقسمات العمرانية المحدثة بهدف إحداث حمام استشفائي متطوّر ومدينة سياحية. يتتبع هذا المقال تاريخ منطقة حمام الانف ومراحل تحولها إلى منتجع استشفائي ساحلي في بداية القرن العشرين. كما يدرس التركيبة العمرانية وآليات التقسيم الفرعي ومورفولوجيا النسيج وتطورها الحضري. كما يتعرض إلى التطورات الحاصلة في فترة ما بين الحربين والسنوات الأخيرة من عهد الحماية. ونختم المقال بالإشارة الى التحولات الاجتماعية والطفرات العمرانية المعاصرة في ضواحي حمام الأنف.
